About the PositionWe are seeking a
Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on major electrical construction projects throughout the Dallas market. This is a
site-based leadership position focused on large-scale projects, particularly
data centers and hospitals.
The Senior Superintendent will take ownership of day-to-day field operations, coordinating manpower, subcontractors, schedules, quality, and safety while working closely with project management and the client team.
Projects will generally be located within approximately a
4-5 hour radius of Dallas, providing regional project leadership without requiring nationwide travel.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all field operations for large-scale electrical construction projects.
- Direct and coordinate Superintendents, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure work progresses according to plan.
- Coordinate electrical installation with general contractors, other trades, engineers, and project management.
- Monitor jobsite productivity, quality, and safety.
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings and communicate project status to leadership.
- Review plans, specifications, and drawings for constructability and coordination issues.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents and applicable safety requirements.
- Support project closeout, commissioning, and turnover activities.
Requirements- 10+ years of experience in electrical construction field operations preferred.
- Proven experience leading large-scale commercial electrical projects.
- Experience with data centers, hospitals, healthcare, or other complex facilities strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and coordinate multiple trades.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction means and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule performance.
- Willingness to lead projects within approximately a 4-5 hour radius of Dallas.
