Full Job Description
Why We Need You

We're building a new kind of engineer - one who doesn't just write code, but designs systems, orchestrates AI agents, and ships end-to-end products with leverage and autonomy.

In this role, you'll take ideas from insight to interface to implementation - using agentic workflows and AI-native tooling to move at a pace that traditional engineering can't match. You'll talk to customers, shape the problem, define the experience, and build the systems that power it. You won't just ship tickets - you'll own outcomes.

You'll architect AI-powered products and orchestration layers, design intuitive user experiences, and build the agentic infrastructure behind them. From first prototype to scalable system, you'll think holistically about usability, performance, reliability, and how AI agents can multiply your impact.

As a senior member of the team, you'll help define what great agentic engineering looks like at Findem - balancing speed with rigor, product taste with technical depth, and customer insight with AI-first system design.

You'll work across the stack with technologies like TypeScript, React, Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Postgres, Docker, and genAI tooling - choosing the right tools (and agents) to bring ideas to life.

What You Will Do

- Build AI-native products that reshape how HR teams source, hire, and operate.

- Design, build, and orchestrate AI agents and agentic workflows to accelerate product delivery.

- Ship features end-to-end, from customer insight to production-ready experience, using AI-augmented development.

- Prototype rapidly with coding co-pilots and agentic tooling, validate with customers, and iterate based on real-world feedback.

- Architect and evolve systems to support performance, reliability, and scale, designing for agent-assisted operation from the start.

- Turn ambiguous opportunities into clear execution plans and deliver measurable outcomes.

- Multiply team output by sharing agentic workflows, elevating engineering practices, and raising the bar for speed and quality across the team.

Your Work Experience

- 8 or more years of progressive software engineering experience, with demonstrated growth in scope and responsibility.

- Deep, hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agentic workflows (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar). You've seen the shift and you're already building this way.

- Significant hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js in production environments.

- Proven experience building and shipping full-stack products in startup or zero-to-one environments with minimal supervision.

- Track record of operating as a Product Engineer, shipping features and products in teams without dedicated product managers.

- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining agentic systems, multi-agent orchestration, or AI-native product workflows.

- Experience working across teams and functions to drive outcomes, and mentoring engineers while contributing to organizational technical strategy.

What Makes You A Great Fit

- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with strong experience building and maintaining production applications.

- Strong proficiency in React, with the ability to design and build intuitive, high-quality user experiences.

- Product engineering mindset: ability to own the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery without dedicated product management support.

- Systems thinking: you design technical systems deliberately, using patterns that scale with both users and agents.

- Deep understanding of agentic architecture, including agent orchestration, tool use, prompt design, and workflow composition.

- Strong ability to translate business and user needs into sound technical solutions independently.

- Proven track record of leading cross-functional technical initiatives from concept to delivery.

- Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate highly complex and ambiguous challenges.

- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messages for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience setting engineering standards and driving adoption of agentic development practices across a team.

- Data-driven decision-making combined with strong technical intuition.

- Ability to mentor and develop engineers in agentic workflows and AI-native development.

Bonus Points:

- Experience with Ruby on Rails.

- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).

- Prior experience in a Tech Lead, Founding Engineer, or Product role.

- You've contributed to or built internal agentic tooling or developer workflows.

- Experience working directly with customers to inform product decisions.

Who You Are

Business Acumen & Product Thinking: Leads system and agent architecture aligned with business objectives. Anticipates shifts in AI tooling and adapts technical strategies ahead of time. Collaborates across product, data, and business functions to define and realize a shared technical vision. Sets and upholds high standards for code quality, architecture, and operational practices. Brings a product engineering approach, making sound product decisions without relying on a separate product function.

Communication: Acts as a key communication link across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment on priorities. Drives documentation and knowledge-sharing best practices, especially around agentic workflows and AI-native development patterns. Fosters constructive feedback loops and helps resolve technical or process conflicts. Builds strong working relationships with engineers, managers, and cross-functional partners.

Teamwork & Leadership: Guides teams in task prioritization, factoring in dependencies, capacity, and agentic leverage. Partners with leadership to rebalance workload and resources. Fosters collaboration and shared ownership across teams. Leads onboarding and training for new team members, including ramp-up on agentic development practices. Identifies opportunities to strengthen team capabilities and drive continuous learning.

Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Independently solves highly complex and ambiguous problems with minimal guidance. Integrates team and organizational strategy into decision-making with a long-term view. Responds to changing conditions with solutions that minimize disruption. Combines data analysis with experience and intuition to support key decisions. Knows when to use agents for leverage and when to go deep by hand.

Impact & Productivity: Operates autonomously on large-scale initiatives with little to no oversight. Anticipates blockers and risks, raising them proactively with mitigation plans. Ensures alignment on scope, ownership, and success criteria. Leads strategic initiatives that improve productivity and platform stability, including the design of agentic workflows that multiply team output.
