Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop cutting edge python software for the healthcare market.
- Create infrastructure to support the use of Large Language Model inference to solve back-office tasks for healthcare providers.
- Be instrumental in optimizing these codebases to enable them to run in large-scale deployments.
- Safeguard private healthcare information by creating secure, attack resistant services and APIs.
- Design and architect scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development processes.
- Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Requirements:Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and two years of experience, including:
- Software development with a focus on backend engineering.
- Designing and implementing scalable solutions in Python
- Using Kubernetes, Containers, CI/CD, AI Model APIs, Agile Methodologies, AWS, Azure,
- Google Cloud services and GitHub.
- Maintenance and enhancement of inherited code with best coding practices.
Work Environment & Lifestyle: - Hybrid Role: This position is primarily remote, but you'll be expected to meet with the team once a week in San Francisco. Outside of these weekly in-person sessions, you'll have the flexibility and autonomy to work from home.
- Travel: You can expect about 25% travel to client sites, team gatherings, or industry events.
- Schedule: Our standard hours are 9 AM - 6 PM, M-F. As a growing startup, we value adaptability; occasionally, this may mean adjusting your schedule to meet pressing deadlines or client needs.
- Physical Requirements & Accommodations: In this role you'll spend your time working at a computer, sitting for extended periods. Because this role involves some travel, you may also be seated for a while when traveling and could need to carry luggage or navigate airports and various offices. Compensation- Base compensation: $165,000 - $205,000 per year
