What you'll be doing- Responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality web applications and back-end services.
- Add new functionality to existing systems, while constantly working to improve usability, quality, performance, and scalability.
- Work closely with UX designers, product management and end-users to create exceptional user experience.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and support to team members and existing products.
- In addition, deliver constant value feedback to the business in a highly agile team approaching continuous deployment.
You are required to have- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- 2 years of experience as Software Engineer, or related occupation.
- Will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of progressive experience as Software Engineer, or related occupation.
- Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:
- Web applications development experience utilizing HTML, CSS, and ES6;
- Designing, implementing and consuming REST APIs in at least one of the following modern programming languages: Java, C++, Python, Ruby, Node.js or Go;
- JavaScript MVC toolkit in a Single Page Architecture: Angular, Dojo, React, Vue, or Backbone;
- Working with and providing mentorship to geographically distributed teams;
- Delivering performant, scalable and maintainable user interfaces and API's to support customer needs.
Up to one day per week telecommuting may be permitted.
For California Only - The annual salary for this position is between $324,700 - $425,000
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.
