Role SummarySenior Software Engineer - Backend
Responsibilities- Participate in the design and development of the product from requirements analysis to production
- Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies)
- Contribute daily and help with code reviews
- Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
- Work in an agile environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the key to success
Qualifications- 5+ years of backend software development experience
- Strong experience in Java/SpringBoot software development
- Experience with microservices
- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL Databases
- Cloud knowledge (Azure or AWS)
- Kubernetes (EKS preferred) is a plus
- Knowledge of event streaming platform such as Kafka or another platform is a plus
- Expertise with git workflows and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Desire and ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience building Charging Station Management System is a plus
- Knowledge of charging protocols - OCPP and OCPI is a plus.
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technology field
Pay DisclosureThe salary range for this role is $135,100 - $168,900 for California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
