You have an expert understanding of internal systems and have established yourself as a strong steward of the tools and features your team relies on. • Leverage best practices in automation testing and deployment to enable rapid iteration and launch of new features
  • Help build a culture where bugs and mistakes in production are treated as opportunities to improve the platform
  • Ensure that the systems we build are highly available and scalable
  • Work directly with our partners and build solutions that seamlessly integrate their products with the Metropolis platform
  • Lead a team towards common goals while facilitating clear and well-communicated outcomes
  • Identify and drive changes to improve the components or systems you work on
  • Provide detailed positive and constructive feedback to help the team reach a consistently high level of productivity
What we're looking for

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Agile engineering processes, including TDD/BDD and CI/CD
  • Experience with database technologies, especially MySQL and Postgres
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
  • Show a track record of completing projects of large scope independently
  • Demonstrate deep AI fluency to drive the technical architecture and execution of next-generation intelligence models
While not required, these are a plus:
  • Possess hands-on experience with container technologies and infrastructure as code techniques
  • Work experience in innovative, high-growth environments
  • Experience with leveraging AI technology to identify behavior and intent from camera input
  • Previous experience incubating 0-to-1 projects or initiatives within a mobility or hospitality vertical
