Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C or Go).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
  • Experience in systems programming, kernel-level development, and virtualization architectures.
  • Experience in core infrastructure (e.g., Virtual Machines, Operating Systems, Infrastructure as a Service, Networking, Storage, Security, Hypervisor).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with virtualization.
  • Experience in algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design, or in Unix/Linux systems, IP networking, performance and application issues.
  • Experience in production infrastructure, and working in both engineering and operational environments: this team has one foot in each, and the successful individual will be able to bridge that divide.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices.
  • Ability to take on challenges that bridge complex stakeholder contexts and take concerted, long-term goal and investment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
