Senior Salesforce Technical Lead

Architect I - Enterprise Solutions

UST is searching for a Senior Salesforce Technical Lead to join our team delivering a large-scale Salesforce implementation for a financial service. You'll work in a fast-paced, agile delivery environment, building complex, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.

The opportunity:
• Platform Design & Development
• Design and build scalable, well-architected applications on the Salesforce platform, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Develop complex, high-performing user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Automation & Process Design
• Architect advanced automation using both point-and-click tools (Flow, Process Builder) and code-based approaches (Apex triggers, classes, batch jobs)
• Design and implement synchronous and asynchronous processing patterns to support responsive, high-throughput solutions
• Integration & Security
• Apply Salesforce integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, middleware) to connect the platform with core enterprise and back-end systems
• Design and implement Salesforce security models - sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and field-level security - to protect sensitive data
• Large Data Volume & Platform Optimization
• Design and tune solutions for large data volume (LDV) operations to ensure performance and stability at enterprise scale
• Leverage Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and OmniStudio to extend and enhance platform capabilities
• Delivery Leadership
• Lead large-scale implementation efforts, guiding delivery teams through design, build, and deployment
• Bring best practices from prior large consultancy engagements to raise the bar on delivery quality and governance

What you need:
• 10+ years of web-based application design/development experience, including a minimum of 8 years on the Salesforce platform
• Extensive experience designing and building applications on the Salesforce platform
• Expertise in complex UI development using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Advanced automation skills using both point-and-click and code-based approaches
• Proficiency with synchronous and asynchronous processes
• Strong knowledge of various integration patterns and security models
• Experience handling large data volume (LDV) operations
• Experience leading large-scale implementations, preferably through a large consultancy (e.g. Accenture, Deloitte)
• Experience working within the financial industry
• Good understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and OmniStudio
• Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification - required

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Toronto, Ontario

Compensation Range: $115,000 - $144,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
