Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity? RBC Capital Markets is looking for a dynamic Sr. Recruiter, Early Talent who will be responsible for the graduate and summer intern recruitment for Capital Markets roles, as well as core school relationships, oversight of the summer intern program within the Capital Markets Division in Canada and execution of the campus strategy for your schools and business.
This role coordinates recruitment activities, on-campus events, summer intern programs, and partnership events. This includes related activities to ensure recordkeeping, posting and candidate tracking obligations are met, career services management, weekly/monthly/ad hoc reporting. As necessary, assists in sourcing, screening and other recruitment activity in support of the business and diversity action plans
What will you do? - Partner with hiring managers and HRBPs as a strategic talent advisor, providing market insights, competitive intelligence, and consultative guidance on early talent acquisition strategies.
- Manage full-cycle campus recruitment - identify and engage talent, post requisitions, interview, and manage candidates through the interview and offer process for program and non-program hires (co-op/intern, summer and new grad) this also includes onboarding activities.
- Proactively generate candidate flow through a variety of sourcing channels, including school partnerships, social media, student organizations, college and university career centers etc. and research and initiate other channels as appropriate.
- Develop networks to source and attract candidates through relationship building activities with local market groups such as organizations, post- secondary schools, community agencies and associations
- Drive strategic partnerships with internal groups to engage top student talent across the enterprise.
- Liaise with our global learning and campus recruiting partners to plan intern new hire training program.
- Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, interview schedules and other recruiting activities.
What do you need to succeed? - Minimum of 3-5 years of Campus Recruiting experience (preferred)
- Passion for working with junior level talent
- Strong business acumen and motivation to stay abreast of emerging regional/market diversity trends and cultural nuances
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills necessary
- Proven problem-solving skills; analytical and numeric reasoning skills
- Strong organizational, time management and process management skills necessary to maintain high volume workload, as well as keen attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) & Internet skills
- Event planning skills and driving engagement on social media to increase visibility and awareness.
- Ability to travel for campus activations and events.
Nice to have - Experience with recruitment tools such as Workday, Phenom, LinkedIn
- Experience in financial services or large institution
- Experience working in Higher Education
