Join Aprio's EPMO team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Enterprise PMO (ePMO) is seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of Agile and traditional project management methodologies, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion. This role spans both IT and non-IT projects, working across a broad range of business functions and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of projects across IT and non-IT domains, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, priorities, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and establish project governance structures.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project ceremonies and working sessions such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage project backlogs and prioritize work items, ensuring that project teams have a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, providing guidance, coaching, and support to project teams.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to optimize project delivery processes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies related to project management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile and/or traditional methodologies.
  • Experience managing both IT and non-IT projects across a variety of business functions.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., ClickUp, Jira, Teamwork).
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications are desirable but not required.
  • Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones is a plus.
