Full Job Description
The Senior Project Analyst will support the Project Management Office (PMO) by driving project governance, business analysis activities, process improvement initiatives, and project execution standards across multiple technology-focused initiatives. This individual will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and leadership to ensure projects follow established methodologies and governance frameworks. This position requires working onsite 3 days per week in Salisbury, NC.

Responsibilities for the Senior PM ( PMO Governance) :
  • Support PMO governance processes , standards, and best practices across technology and business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, status reports, RAID logs, requirements documentation, and process workflows.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Facilitate project intake, governance reviews, and project lifecycle activities.
  • Perform process mapping, workflow analysis, and gap assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and key performance indicators.
  • Support executive and leadership reporting through dashboards, presentations, and project status updates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Assist with testing coordination, requirements validation, and solution reviews.
  • Advocate for established project management methodologies, governance standards, and organizational ways of working.
  • Support initiatives utilizing Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban delivery frameworks.

Qualifications for the Senior PM ( PMO Governance):
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO, business analysis, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting project governance, PMO operations, or portfolio management functions.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and SDLC principles.
  • Experience creating project charters, requirements documentation, process maps, and status reporting artifacts.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, Clarity, or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
