Full Job Description
Objectives

We are seeking a hands-on, execution-oriented Senior Product Operations Manager to design, document, and continuously improve the core agile ceremonies (operating rhythms) of our multi-product, SaaS-based SDLC. This new leader will establish feedback loops that make our SDLC more effective, measurable, consistent (where appropriate), and scalable across products, teams, and partners.

Red Oak has grown from one product to three over the last two years, primarily through acquisition and partnership. As such, we are looking for a rockstar to shape Product Operations, build on known-good processes, and drive consistency (where appropriate) as we integrate and scale these products into a market-leading platform. This role will report directly to the newly appointed Chief Product Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Implement & Scale Product Tooling:
    • Lead hands-on implementation of Pendo for at least one product. This may include, but is not limited to, usage tracking, product/feature RO, in-app messaging, guides, NPS, etc.
    • Develop training, documentation, and playbooks to enable peers (PMs, PMMs, Client Success, and SMEs) to implement/leverage Pendo successfully across other products.
    • Collaborate/partner with peer Product Managers and Engineering in the effective use of Jira (ex, taxonomy, tagging) and Confluence across teams. Drive consistency where appropriate.
    • Success will be measured by implementing Pendo for at least one product, enabling peers to make product decisions grounded in measurable outcomes (or at least proxies thereof).
  • Evolve the Core SDLC Ceremonies & Information Flow:
    • Design, document, and continuously improve the most critical agile ceremonies:
      • Client feedback tooling, prioritization, and processes.
      • Discovery frameworks and responsibilities.
      • Sprint reviews preparation, decks, minutes, and socialization.
      • Design partner recruitment, engagement frequency, and expectations.
      • Information architecture tooling, taxonomy, and documentation standards.
      • Adoption tracking and enablement of product impact evangelism.
      • Release visibility and cross-functional communication.
    • Establish scalable, lightweight common practices across multiple products where appropriate - without creating bureaucracy. Success will be measured by greater release predictability and client-driven value from releases/features that meet or exceed our commercial metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
    • Create custom GPTs and lightweight automations to improve documentation, analysis, and workflows.
    • Identify inefficiencies and proactively evolve processes.
    • Build repeatable playbooks that scale with company growth.

Competencies
  • 5-7+ years in a Product Operations, Product Management, Product Owner or Scrum Master role within a growing SaaS software company.
  • Demonstrated success in building or significantly evolving Product Operations.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence (or equivalent)
  • Experience implementing product analytics tools (Pendo strongly preferred).
  • Capable of building and deploying custom GPTs to enhance workflows.
  • Highly effective in partnering with engineering teams.

Work Structure

Red Oak values the energy and creativity that comes from working together in person. To support this cultural element, this hybrid role is based out of our North Austin HQ with a minimum of 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday) in the office each week.

Benefits
  • Equity Units
  • 5% 401K Match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability Insurance
  • Maternity/Paternity Leave
