About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned, highly technical Product Marketing Manager to own the technical narrative and content strategy for AlphaSense's complex AI infrastructure and security protocols. This role is the dedicated owner responsible for translating complex technical capabilities into clear, credible, and usable content for both external technical audiences and internal GTM teams. You will strategically position, package, and activate this technical knowledge to bridge the gap between technical SMEs and GTM execution, ensuring that our technical value proposition is a sustainable competitive edge and maintains critical technical credibility in every enterprise deal. This critical function sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Security, and Marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Own the technical positioning & messaging for AlphaSense's platform infrastructure and security posture, ensuring it fits into the broader company and platform narrative.
  • Develop compelling narratives that translate complex architectural capabilities into credible, trust-based content for technical buyers (e.g. CTOs, CIOs).
  • Act as the primary bridge between technical SMEs (i.e. Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance) and GTM teams, designing and managing the workflow for technical content production to maximize SME impact.
  • Partner with Thought Leadership and Security/Compliance teams to create high-impact technical thought leadership, including deep-dive blogs, security webpage content, Trust Center assets, and vetted documentation for InfoSec reviews.
  • Partner with the broader marketing team (i.e. Demand Gen, Growth) to leverage technical content for organic growth and top-of-funnel awareness among technical personas.
  • Partner with Enablement to equip Sales, Support, and App Spec teams with technical enablement on core capabilities and differentiated technical narratives.
  • Partner with Competitive Intelligence to contribute to competitive battlecards that highlight technical capabilities and specifically address technical objections.
  • Conduct research into technical buyer personas and emerging infrastructure trends (e.g. LLM security, data residency, new security/AI certifications). Uncover competitive technical gaps and opportunities to inform both product strategy and technical marketing efforts.
  • Partner with Solution Marketing to build targeted programs that highlight the security and stability of the platform, driving customer confidence during high-stakes renewals and enterprise-wide expansions.
  • Lead product launches for infrastructure and security-centric releases. Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure launches include the necessary technical content (e.g. technical FAQs, architecture diagrams, and security white papers) required for market readiness.

Who You Are
  • 6-8+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, with a proven track record of building positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for complex enterprise software or infrastructure solutions.
  • A "technical translator" who is comfortable working with APIs, security frameworks (SOC2, encryption), and AI infrastructure concepts, with the ability to turn deep technical details into credible narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experienced in technical content creation, having produced high-utility assets such as architecture diagrams, security white papers, API and MCP documentation, and technical FAQs that bridge the gap between engineering and the field.
  • A strategic orchestrator who can effectively partner with and extract knowledge from technical SMEs (Engineering, Security, Product).
  • Data-driven and analytically minded, leveraging product adoption data, competitive intelligence, and technical ROI metrics to identify market opportunities and inform the product roadmap.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with experience delivering technical demos and presentations to highly technical executives, including CIOs, CTOs, and IT decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, combining operational rigor with the creativity needed to differentiate a highly technical platform in a competitive AI market.
  • Experience working with financial services audiences (investment banking, buy-side, private equity, or related) and an understanding of their specific security and compliance requirements is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a highly technical role such as software engineering and technical writing is strongly preferred.
