Full Job Description
The Senior Product Manager, Partner Experience will lead the strategy, development, commercialization, and ongoing evolution of the products, platforms, APIs, and capabilities that power the partner experience across Moneris' Distribution Partnerships portfolio. This role is responsible for defining how Moneris enables and supports its diverse partner ecosystem, including software platforms (ISVs), embedded payment partners, PayFacs, ISOs, associations, affiliates, referral partners, and other strategic distribution relationships. A key initial mandate will be leading the implementation, commercialization, and ongoing optimization of a strategic partner management platform and associated third-party acquiring capabilities. Beyond the initial platform implementation, the role will establish and evolve a broader Partner Experience product strategy focused on creating scalable, digital-first experiences that simplify how partners onboard, manage, support, and grow their merchant portfolios with Moneris. This is a senior product leadership role requiring strong product management expertise, strategic thinking, technical and commercial acumen, and the ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives. Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Product - Distribution Partnerships. Posting Type: New Position. Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $155,000. Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Own the Partner Experience product strategy: Define and manage the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Partner Experience portfolio, aligned with the broader Distribution Partnerships strategy. Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle: Lead products and capabilities from discovery and business case development through delivery, commercialization, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement. Translate insights into product innovation: Turn partner needs, market trends, business objectives, and competitive insights into product opportunities, priorities, and scalable solutions. Shape and enhance the partner experience: Define and continuously improve partner and merchant experiences across onboarding, portfolio management, servicing, reporting, settlement, and related capabilities. Drive platform, API, and ecosystem development: Lead the implementation and evolution of partner-facing platforms, APIs, and integration capabilities that enable partners to onboard, manage, and grow merchant portfolios at scale. Advance automation and self-service capabilities: Identify opportunities to simplify experiences, increase automation, and support scalable portfolio growth. Measure and optimize performance: Establish and monitor product success metrics, using data and partner feedback to drive adoption, prioritization, and ongoing improvement. Lead cross-functional execution: Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Finance, Legal, Sales, Marketing, and external stakeholders to deliver complex strategic initiatives. Manage strategic partner and vendor relationships: Build and maintain relationships with technology and distribution partners to ensure capabilities and investments align with Moneris' long-term objectives. Required skills and experience 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, platform products, payments, fintech, SaaS, or related fields, including experience operating at a senior product management level. Demonstrated experience owning complex products or platforms from strategy and discovery through delivery, commercialization, and ongoing optimization. Strong knowledge of product management disciplines, including product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, requirements definition, agile delivery, commercialization, and performance management. Experience leading complex initiatives across multiple business and technology teams without direct authority. Experience working with APIs, platform products, integrations, or technology-enabled ecosystems. Experience developing business cases, evaluating investments, defining pricing or commercial models, and measuring product performance. Demonstrated ability to translate customer or partner needs into scalable product solutions. Experience presenting recommendations and influencing decisions with senior stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience that would set you apart Experience within payments, acquiring, fintech, banking, or financial services. Experience working with ISVs, PayFacs, ISOs, embedded payments providers, marketplaces, or other partner-led distribution models. Experience with merchant acquiring, payment facilitation, third-party acquiring, or merchant lifecycle management. Experience with partner management, merchant onboarding, underwriting, settlement, residual management, billing, or reporting platforms. Experience managing vendor or technology platform relationships. Experience developing API-first or platform-based products and services.
