NetApp's IT Infrastructure organization manages the foundation that every employee, every system, and every business process runs on. The work is complex, consequential, and deeply connected to how the business operates every single day.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who brings deep product craft, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to operate with confidence across engineering teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership. This is not a project coordination role. This is a product role. You will own the backlog, shape the roadmap, champion the voice of the customer, and partner with technical leaders to deliver products that create meaningful business impact.

Job Responsibilities
• Partner with technical leaders to shape and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned to business priorities
• Translate business needs and stakeholder input into a prioritized backlog with clear rationale
• Maintain a forward-looking perspective on your product area and bring thoughtful, informed recommendations to technical andbusiness leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve, consolidate, or evolve products based on data and stakeholder feedback
• Build trusted relationships across a complex stakeholder landscape including business units, executive leadership, Security, Legal, Finance, and HR
• Serve as the primary product point of contact for your stakeholders
• Facilitate discovery conversations to surface needs, pain points, and priorities
• Communicate product decisions, tradeoffs, and roadmap direction clearly and confidently to all levels of the organization
• Own and maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog
• Gather and document business and technical requirements independently, translating stakeholder needs into clear specifications for engineering and technical teams
• Make prioritization decisions with clarity and conviction and communicate them effectively
• Create the conditions for engineering teams to move fast and build the right things
• Define success metrics for your products and track them consistently
• Monitor product health and surface risks, gaps, and opportunities proactively
• Drive continuous improvement across your product area
• Bring a data-informed perspective to every product decision

Job Requirements
• 8 or more years of product management experience in a technology environment
• Demonstrated experience owning a product backlog and driving a roadmap end to end
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholder groups
• Proven ability to partner effectively with engineering and technical teams
• Experience communicating with and influencing executive audiences
• Comfortable performing requirements gathering and documentation independently in a lean environment without dedicated business analyst support
• Background in infrastructure, platform, or enterprise technology products preferred
• Familiarity with AI, cloud, or emerging enterprise technology platforms preferred
• Intellectually curious with the ability to ask the right questions and synthesize complex information into clear product decisions
• Strategically minded with the ability to connect technology decisions to business outcomes
• Clear and confident communicator, equally effective in a boardroom and an engineering standup
• Decisive, with the ability to gather input, form a view, and move work forward
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and creating clarity where none exists
• Collaborative, with the ability to build alignment through relationships and influence
• Self-directed, with the ability to identify what needs to happen next and make it happen
  • Experience creating visual artifacts such as data flows, architecture diagrams, or lightweight prototypes to communicate product concepts preferred

Education

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 170,000 - 253,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
