Global restaurant brands run their operation on the Crunchtime platform. Delivering a consistent guest experience across every location and managing food and labor costs are at the core of how Crunchtime's software is used today in over 150,000 locations across 100+ countries by the world's top restaurant and foodservice operators. Customers including Chipotle, Culver's, Domino's, Dunkin', Five Guys and P.F. Chang's rely on our top-ranked platform which now includes Zenput to manage inventory, staff scheduling, learning and development, food safety, operational tasks and audits.

About the role:

At Crunchtime, you will work on the roadmap for connecting the different products in our suite, working with Engineers and Designers to build the next generation of capabilities that our combined Operations Execution, Learning & Development, Labor, and Inventory products unlock. We are looking for a customer-centric, data-driven, and outcome-oriented Product Manager to join our product team.

At Crunchtime, being a Product Manager means:
  • Being product obsessed, a high degree of customer empathy, avid learner, active and influential communicator, systems thinking, analytical and data-informed decision-maker, having clear ownership, great attention to detail, working shoulder to shoulder with Engineering and UX Design.
  • Seamless execution and planning skills, experience, and familiarity with customer and product discovery frameworks and tools, such as but not limited to User Story Mapping, Customer Journey Mapping, User Personas, Jobs to be Done, and PRDs.
  • Being part of cross-functional teams with members from Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Design, where each team has clear OKRs that they are responsible for.
What you'll do
  • Lead customer and product discovery to launch innovative solutions
  • Design and execute on the current product vision
  • Craft and own the product backlog for new features
  • Triage and prioritize bugs to maintain a cohesive and seamless user experience
  • Build personal relationships with customers to gain a deep understanding of their Jobs to be Done, pain points, and goals
  • Drive product development with a cross-functional world-class team of engineers and designers
  • Define and analyze metrics to inform product success
What we are looking for
  • 5+ years of experience managing B2B software products
  • Experience building and iterating products with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate customer JTBDs and problems to solve
  • API and Data fluency, including:
    • A strong understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL, webhooks) and data exchange formats.
    • Knowledge of common integration patterns and architectures (e.g., ETL, iPaaS, event-driven architecture).
  • Systems thinking and an analytical mindset to make decisions based on quantitative and qualitative feedback
  • Experience using customer and product discovery frameworks, such as but not limited to: User Story Mapping, Lightning Decision Jams, Customer Journey Mapping, and Jobs to be Done
  • Ability to engage directly in technical conversations and translate to a non-technical audience
Nice to have
  • Experience leveraging Lean Product Development methodologies
  • Domain experience in food service, food safety, QSR/FSR, retail operations, operations research, or related fields
  • Experience in commercializing software products
  • Experience with significant change management and projects spanning multiple product offerings and technical platforms
