Position Summary:

The Warehouse Senior Manageris responsible forensuring all aspects of the warehouseoperateefficiently and in compliance with established proceduresandforensuring service excellence to Clinical and Research Labs. The position manages all operational functionsincluding;inbound, put away, order fulfillment, outbound,cyclecounts and inventory maintenance in Redwood Citywarehouse to ensure standardized operating procedures arefollowed. This individual willbe responsibleforbuildinghigh performingteams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of all operational functionsincluding;inbound, put away, order fulfillment, outbound,cyclecounts,inventory maintenance,and equipment. Develop/updatestandardized operating procedures.

  • Manageemployees and contractors,providing guidance ongoals,delivery expectations and bringing clarityand resolutionto any potential issues.

  • Day to Day task and project management driving to execution.

  • Monitor andmaintaintheinventoryon handfor allwarehouse andlab locations.Managethetransfer of materialsto andfromUnion City and Palo Altowarehouseto Redwood City warehouse.

  • Activelymonitorand trackallinbound & outboundlogistics, followingup with carriers toaddressbottlenecks andensurespeedy delivery of patient samples tolabteams.

  • Manage annual budgetand cost control,while developingannual cost reduction roadmap

  • Warehouse footprint strategy,capacityand scalability planning

  • Cross functional alignment with Supply Chain, Finance, Clinical Ops, QA, and IT

  • Enforce company policy to be SOX compliant.

  • Ensure warehouse operationscomply withSOX, GMP,andmaintainaudit readiness for internal and external audits

  • Develop/updateSOPs; ensuredirect reports follow established guidelines to produceandaccurateandhigh quality of services in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Identify,develop, and implementsolutions for operational opportunities and process improvement.

  • Understandand meet internal and external customers and service level expectations

  • Develop a culture of collaboration,engagement,inspire commitment and encourage mutual support.

  • Drive change in culture towards lean and continuous improvement principles

  • Provide general and day-to-day supervisionand directiontoSupervisors andMaterial Handling personnel

  • Own deviation, CAPA, and NCR governance for warehouse operations

  • KPI governance and performance dashboard ownership

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Lead ERP/WMS optimization and system enhancements, word processing, project management, etc.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlookrequired.

Hybrid Work Model:This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies. Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. This range does not include benefits or, if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity. Each candidates compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, education, job-related skills, job duties, and business need. Primary Location: Redwood City, CA Primary Location Base Pay Range: $139,200 - $191,400 Other US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $118,320 - $162,690 If the role is performed in Colorado, the pay range for this job is: $125,280 - $172,260


Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment.Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
