Job Description

Position Summary

The Specialist, Retail Connections will work on some of the fastest growing beers in the industry. This position will support the creation, planning and execution of strategic multicultural retail campaigns for the Corona Brand Family – shaping how consumers see and interact with the brands at the point of purchase. The specialist will help drive collaboration and consistency across internal teams in the development of innovative retail programming and creative consumer promotions. The successful candidate will be eager to learn with a desire to innovate and develop methods and tools to drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Bring the Corona Brand Family to life by assisting with the development and implementation of a year-round promotion calendar and integrated retail campaigns to maximize sales opportunities and consumer conversion at retail.
  • Assists with creative development, implementation, and ongoing management of point-of-sale programming for the Corona Brand Family.
  • Creative Agency and vendor management to provide programs and tools that target retail trade for sales enhancing and consumer awareness programs.
  • Assists in the annual strategic planning process to manage planning timelines, helps align internal Marketing teams, Consumer/Shopper insights, Sales, and agency efforts in the delivery of planning presentations and tools.
  • Manages and directs the work of our fulfillment agency and vendors in support of the production of Point-of-Sale marketing materials.
  • Communicates and evaluates the effectiveness of promotional marketing programs.
  • Assists with the financial management of team budget, including entry and management of purchase orders; invoice reconciliation and support with monthly forecasting as needed.
  • Maintains constant and concise communication with marketing and distributor stakeholders to ensure needs are met.
  • Helps recommend and implement comprehensive retail promotional plans for new product introductions and line extensions of existing products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor27s degree is required, preferably with an emphasis on marketing, business or communications.
  • Creative, innovative, and enthusiastic self-starter with ability to multi-task, problem solve and anticipate project needs.
  • 1-3 years of prior agency or supplier side experience in the beverage or consumer packaged good (CPG) industry.
  • Passion for bringing brands to life via Sports, Culture, Trends, Brand Partnerships and how these areas drive brand building and growth.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, as well as external business partners.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, brand strategy and how to implement it across various consumer touchpoints.
  • Strong communication skills across all forms of communication (written, presentation) with varying audiences (marketing/sales leadership sponsorship partners and agencies).
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn the Alc Bev Industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs 2D Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Based in Chicago.

The salary range for this role is:

$69,500.00 - $102,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee27s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
