Purpose

The Senior Manager, Revenue Management, Private Banking is responsible for optimizing the profitability and sustainability of Scotiabank's Private Banking portfolio through client-level strategies, pricing economics, margin discipline and expense management. They will partner closely with Product, Finance, Business Intelligence and stakeholders across the bank to support strategic decisions that enhance client value.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop and maintain client profitability frameworks across lending, deposits and fee-based products
  • Drive understanding of relationship economics, including revenue generation, funding values, RORWA, and cost to serve
  • Identify key profitability drivers, produce actionable strategies and drive execution
  • Support the development of a client profitability model to better inform relationship and portfolio pricing decisioning
  • Partner with Product, Treasury, Finance, Business Intelligence teams to establish pricing strategies,
  • Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments based on market conditions and outcomes
  • Identify clients receiving Private Banking service that do not meet profitability or strategic relationship thresholds
  • Partner with stakeholders to implement transition strategies for relationships into appropriate service channels
  • Develop granular understanding of client value proposition, relationship drivers and provide recommendations for senior leadership
  • Support annual planning, P&L forecasting and revenue target development

  • 5+ years of management experience, including in product, finance, pricing or strategy role(s).
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent diploma) required; graduate degree an asset
  • Experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Product and Pricing functions
  • Experience developing profitability frameworks and financial analyses
  • Experience in pricing strategy, revenue management with strong financial modeling capabilities
  • Strong facilitator, with the ability to lead team of senior contributors to overall objectives
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage relationships across the bank
