Summary
Daily Harvest is looking for a Senior Manager Inventory & Supply Planning to own the end-to-end supply and inventory planning function across our DTC and retail channels. This role sits at the intersection of operations, finance, and commercial - translating demand into executable supply plans, financially sound inventory positions, keeping our 3PL network accountable, and ensuring our products reach customers at the right time, in the right quantities, with lot integrity intact. You'll be a key partner to marketing, transportation, our co-manufacturing partners, and a primary driver of how we manage cost and availability across the network
Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Forecasting
Own end-to-end supply planning, once you receive the finance demand plan you build a sku level supply plan and production scheduling
Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly production forecasts to co-manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment on capacity, lead times, and safety stock targets
Participate in the S&OP cadence, translating commercial priorities into actionable supply plans and surfacing risks proactively
Create and send finished good pos, work orders, and then receive the completed inventories and usage reports in Net Suite
Inventory Management & Lot Accuracy
Report on weekly inventory levels across the network, maintaining visibility into on-hand positions, in-transit inventory, and days-of-supply by SKU
Build and execute the weekly allocation plan for 3PL partners, balancing service levels, shelf life, and freight cost
Create and manage stock transfer orders (STOs) and inventory receipts in NetSuite, ensuring lot-level traceability is maintained end-to-end
Manage lot expiration for retail based on shelf life and freshness requirements, proactively identifying and resolving near-expiry inventory
QA inventory issues daily with 3PL partners; lead weekly calls to ensure product accountability and resolve discrepancies
Retail & DTC Channel Execution
Ensure retail inventories are positioned at healthy in-stock levels, developing replenishment triggers and escalation protocols to prevent stockouts
Support the sunset strategy for discontinuing SKUs, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to sell through or disposition remaining inventory
Partner with marketing on new product launches, bundle initiatives, gifting programs, and promotional timing - providing inventory availability windows and supply constraints
Freight & Warehousing
Partner with the freight coordinator to align the weekly allocation plan with outbound freight scheduling, optimizing truck utilization and supporting the finished freight cost budget
Own warehousing budget planning and monthly/quarterly validation against actuals, flagging variance
Systems & Operations
QA NetSuite daily for fulfillment errors, inventory discrepancies, and inventory receipt issues - resolving or triaging with the appropriate teams
Develop and maintain reporting and KPIs that provide real-time visibility into inventory health, lot status, and allocation execution
Requirements
7-10 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or operations in a food, beverage, or CPG environment
Proven experience managing 3PL relationships and holding external partners accountable to inventory accuracy and service level commitments
Hands-on ERP experience required; NetSuite strongly preferred
Strong understanding of lot traceability, shelf life management, and food safety requirements as they apply to inventory planning
Experience building and executing allocation plans across a multi-node distribution network
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where processes are still being built - you know how to create structure without waiting for it
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency; familiarity with BI tools a plus
Excellent cross-functional communication - you can translate inventory data into clear business narratives for marketing, finance, and operations stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or a related field
The salary range for this full-time position is $105,500.00 - $166,100.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
