Partner with senior leaders across Global Human Resources to shape and deliver integrated talent strategies that enable organizational effectiveness within a complex, evolving HR function. This role provides strategic HR advice and counsel on workforce planning, talent management, succession, and organizational design, while leveraging Centres of Expertise (COEs) and HR Services to deliver practical, data-informed solutions aligned to business priorities.

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner contributes to the overall success of Human Resources by ensuring individual goals, plans and initiatives are executed in support of business strategies and objectives. As a trusted advisor, the role optimizes people strategy, strengthens talent outcomes and ensures the right talent mix is in place to support a globally integrated and transforming HR function. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

  • Champion a customer focused culture to deepen relationships within HR and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Partner with senior HR leaders to develop and execute integrated talent strategies aligned to business priorities, including workforce planning, succession, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing insight on talent priorities, HR trends and market dynamics to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, helping build an agile and adaptable workforce while anticipating future talent needs.
  • Deliver and execute key HR lifecycle activities such as talent management, performance development, compensation, engagement and learning strategies.
  • Leverage HR data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend effective solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate across HR (COEs and HR Services) to deliver scalable, efficient and high-impact people solutions, including support on escalated or complex cases.
  • Champion and contribute to the evolution of the HR operating model, supporting the development of a globally integrated, flexible and efficient HR function.

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated strength in strategic HR business partnering and talent strategy execution.
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent experience; CHRP, CHRL or equivalent designation (or in progress) is an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into actionable HR strategies and solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across HR and build effective relationships.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to analyze data and trends to inform decisions.
  • Experience leading or supporting organizational change and workforce planning initiatives.
  • High level of adaptability and agility, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong project management skills to drive execution of multiple priorities and initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate complexity while managing risk and maintaining a strong focus on outcomes and impact.
