Job Duties: Lead and manage the construction of data centers by colocation providers, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, with focus on base building and MEP infrastructure. Analyze projects independently to evaluate the risk profiles associated with timely delivery, address gaps in risk identification and mitigation and inform the business of associated potential impacts. Work closely throughout design, construction, and commissioning to fully coordinate and integrate the separate scope of tenant fit out projects with the base building projects. Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with design teams to ensure that construction activities align with the approved design plans and specifications. Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and colocation providers, facilitating clear and effective communication. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards. Provide ongoing colocation provider evaluation for continuous improvement. Conduct regular project visits to ensure schedule, coordination, and quality throughout the life of the project on a regular basis. Manages direct reports, provides coaching and growth leadership. May work at various unanticipated locations throughout U.S. Travel up to 50%, for client-driven and/or company projects. No relocation required. May telecommute. ([redacted]3)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related technical field followed by 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a construction management-related occupation. Position requires:
1. Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for large-scale, mission-critical data center campuses, including multi-building greenfield developments;
2. Lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary teams-including MEP Engineers, Superintendents, Commissioning Engineers, VDC Managers, VDC Engineers, OFCI Engineers, and field
personnel-fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture that drives accountability, professional development, and excellence in project delivery across design, construction, and
commissioning of mission-critical data center and infrastructure projects;
3. Manage all aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) procurement, including vendor selection, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations, overseeing the preparation, coordination, and review of submittals, shop drawings, and Requests for Information (RFIs) to ensure accuracy, compliance with project specifications, and timely approval;
4. Lead design coordination efforts by facilitating collaboration among engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring all MEPF elements are fully integrated within the overall project scope;
5. Direct every aspect of site development, including precision grading; installation of underground utilities erosion and sediment control measures, the construction of advanced stormwater management systems, roadway paving, and other essential civil works;
6. Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure all installations meet engineering requirements, while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and safety protocols;
7. Apply industry best practices in project controls, quality assurance, and risk management to ensure each development phase is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards;
8. Manage the full lifecycle of start-up, energization, integrated testing, and commissioning activities for Levels 1 through 5 on complex, large-scale projects featuring multiple phased turnover requirements;
9. Enforce strict separation between completed and under-construction areas, ensuring all work complies with client MOPs, security protocols, and approved change procedures;
10. Ensure the highest standards of installation quality, scope alignment, and code compliance across all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) and Contractor Furnished Contractor Installed (CFCI) equipment, ensuring proper fit, function, and sequencing during installation;
11. Lead end-to-end Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) implementation across all project phases, encompassing planning, design coordination, trade modeling, clash detection, logistics, safety planning, and on-site installations;
12. Maintain and foster strong professional relationships with owner representatives, design teams, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), local jurisdictions, and trade partners to ensure open communication and collaborative project delivery;
13. Lead the creation and execution of integrated Master Project Schedules, coordinating MEPF, civil, and commissioning milestones while using advanced planning tools to optimize workflows, track critical paths, and ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery; and,
14. Oversee project financials and risk management by managing budgets, forecasts, and cost controls, analyzing performance, implementing corrective actions, and administering change orders to ensure timely approvals, cost recovery, and achievement of project objectives.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $129,958 to $251,999 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and/or equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
