THE ROLE
The Senior Manager, AI Security & CISO Advisor provides enterprise oversight of AI security, cybersecurity risk, and digital trust,ensuring that technology adoption aligns with organizational risk tolerance, regulatory requirements, and strategic objectives.
They lead the development and enforcement of governance frameworks that integrate AI, cyber, and data risk management. This includes establishing lifecycle controls for AI systems to address risks related to data usage, model integrity, bias, and operational resilience,ensuring risks are proactively identified, assessed, and governed.
Acting as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, they translate complex technical risks into clear business impacts, enabling informed decision-making and explicit accountability for risk ownership and acceptance.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field AND several years of experience cybersecurity, AI security, or technology risk management or a related field
AND
Professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent (AI governance or emerging technology credentials), as an asset.

In end-to-end solution design and architecture
In systems architecture and technical architecture and design
In security audit and compliance
In developing and supporting cyber and information security programs
In multi-vendor network environment
In multi-technology environments
In routing and switching network design
In network security structure design
In enterprise security document creation
In crisis management
In personnel administration
In budget administration
In leading multi-discipline teams
In strategic planning and developing security roadmaps
In project management
In creating and facilitating presentations
In Key Performance Indicator (KPI), Service Level Agreement (SLA), and metrics reporting
Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Leading enterprise cybersecurity or AI risk programs
Developing and implementing governance frameworks across cyber, AI, data, and third-party risk
Overseeing security assessment, authorization, and compliance for both traditional and AI-enabled solutions
Advising senior leadership by translating technical risks into clear business impacts
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English or French Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset

OTHER INFORMATION
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
