What you'll do...

Position: Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics

Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030

Duties: Develop data models (algorithms, approaches) for analytics related projects within a business area or category to drive business results and value. Collaborate with project team to implement modeling solutions. Evaluate new data analysis techniques to support prototype development. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on prototypes and algorithms. Drive the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and support data-driven decision making. Make strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership based on analysis results. Collaborate across all analytics functions to develop and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends and analysis. Own complex projects end-to-end for a business area, category, or prototype. Manage risk associated with implementation. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Consult senior leadership/business partners to understand overall goals/functional objectives, decipher key business challenges, identify tactics to anticipate and mitigate business challenges/issues, and develop potential success criteria. Focus efforts on items that have maximum impact to the business. Contribute to business area strategic planning by providing input and actionable recommendations and solutions to senior leadership based on advanced research and analytical findings. Help with the development and implementation of prototypes and production-ready complex algorithms for complex projects. Manage the testing and validation process to monitor the solution. Collaborate with functional leadership and cross-functional teams to develop consultative solutions for complex projects for a business area, category or prototype. Collaborate and partner with external business partners and vendors. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Skills required: Experience coding using programming languages (Python, R, and SQL) for performing data manipulation, data pulls, and statistical analysis. Experience with statistical modeling techniques like regression analysis, time series forecasting, clustering, classification, propensity score matching and k-means. Experience with A/B testing and experimentation design running randomized controlled experiments, calculating statistical significance, and analyzing test results. Experience with cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud Platform and Azure) for deploying scalable data processing pipelines and running distributed analytics workloads. Experience with relational and cloud database systems (SQL Server and Redshift) for querying, extracting, and managing large datasets. Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, and Looker). Experience with digital marketing and web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics and Traffic360) for tracking digital customer behavior, funnel analysis, and measuring campaign ROI. Experience with Microsoft Excel for performing ad-hoc data analysis, creating pivot tables, conducting statistical calculations using formulas, and building charts visualization and reporting. Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating executive presentations, visualizing data insights through charts and graphs, and communicating analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Experience with project management and collaboration platforms (JIRA and Confluence) for managing analytics projects, timelines, and cross-functional team coordination. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $139,506/year to $216,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
