Overview
As Senior Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of a defined geography and build the conditions for successful launches in follicular lymphoma (FL) and anal cancer (SCAC). You will connect strategy with the realities of each account, bringing together healthcare professionals, access stakeholders, patient pathways, and our cross-functional team.
What you will build
Exceptional, long-term partnerships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, professional societies, patient organizations, and other stakeholders shaping care.
Strategic account plans grounded in a detailed understanding of local systems, patient pathways, institutional priorities, payer dynamics, and access barriers.
Launch readiness and strong in-market execution for two innovative hematology/oncology medicines within your geography.
Cross-functional solutions that address care gaps and improve patient outcomes, including medical education initiatives and appropriate collaborative projects.
A strong feedback loop between the field and the organization, translating customer insight into focused action and better decisions.
How you will make an impact
Develop and sustain strong disease-state and product knowledge, communicating relevant scientific information clearly and responsibly.
Co-create and execute local commercial strategies, including branded and disease-awareness initiatives aligned with customer and patient needs.
Identify and engage the stakeholders involved in reimbursement decisions and proactively surface potential coverage challenges.
Support prescribers and their teams in navigating access and payer approval processes, clarifying barriers and the actions required to address them.
Partner closely with Market Access colleagues on reimbursement, payer coverage, and patient support considerations.
Mobilize the wider matrix team around account needs, ensuring coordinated engagement and appropriate patient access to Incyte medicines.
Adapt priorities as our research pipeline and hematology/oncology portfolio evolve.
The experience you bring
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least five years in pharmaceutical hospital or academic sales and marketing.
Hematology/Oncology account-management experience, or a strong understanding of Canadian healthcare systems and payer networks that enables you to establish credibility quickly.
The ability to navigate complex accounts, influence without authority, and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with sound judgment in scientific and customer conversations.
A track record of managing competing priorities, working calmly under pressure, and following through on commitments.
Market Access experience and established hematology/oncology relationships are valuable assets.
The willingness and ability to travel regularly within Canada and internationally when required.
Pay Range
CAD $150,000.00 - CAD $175,000.00 /Yr.
