Job Summary:
The Sr. Java Full Stack Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and modern front-end technologies. The role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to technical and architecture discussions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance full-stack applications.
• Develop robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Build and enhance responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular and/or React.js.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Participate in system design, technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Architects, and development teams.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop and execute unit tests and support integration and end-to-end testing activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance standards are maintained.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17 or higher.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, or Gradle.
• Strong understanding of Git/version control and code review practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience working in the financial services or banking domain.
• Experience with large-scale, highly available enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
• Experience with API gateways and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar tools.
