This position will work closely with business partners, colleagues, and cross-functional teams to understand business processes, workflows, and their relationships to current and future software solutions, with an emphasis on continuous improvement. The role will elicit, document, and validate business requirements; develop system and solution documentation; and collaborate with team members to implement and manage software solutions. The individual will also lead testing and validation activities and use data analysis, querying, and reporting tools to troubleshoot issues, validate solutions, and support business decision-making.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Elicit, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements, facilitating discussions with diverse stakeholders and translating business needs into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Maintain requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze business processes and design system solutions that improve operational effectiveness and align with application, data, integration, and enterprise standards; document solutions, processes, and decisions.
• Perform technical analysis and validation of application solutions, including data and integration analysis, technical testing, troubleshooting, and coordination with developers, vendors, and technical teams.
• Develop and lead system and functional testing, including test planning and scripts, test execution, tester coordination, defect triage, results documentation, and business signoff.
• Develop SQL queries, reports, and data analyses to support system validation, troubleshooting, operational needs, and business decision-making.
• Manage intake and analysis of application requests across the systems portfolio, including clarifying needs, assessing priorities and dependencies, estimating level of effort, and supporting work planning.
• Develop and maintain functional knowledge of research administration business processes and systems to support implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operations.
• Develop expertise across the RAS application portfolio, including the Huron Research Suite, Inteum Minuet and related applications, including our supported systems' integrations with financial, HR, identity, reporting, and other enterprise systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Type of Required Experience:

Demonstrated experience as a business or systems analyst supporting complex enterprise applications, including requirements elicitation and documentation, business process analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation. Experience leading or coordinating system testing activities, including development of test strategies and plans, test case management, defect triage, and coordination of functional and technical participants. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable system requirements and resolve complex functional, data, and integration issues.

• Associate's Degree
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

• Required to travel to and/or work at off-campus or remote locations.
• Required to work normal business hours; evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
