Full Job Description
If you were in the Senior Information Architect role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Creating scoped conceptual and logical architectures for product leaders with trade-offs, policy adherence, risk advisement, and alignment with group and global platform strategy
  • With enterprise architecture, documenting and developing business domain information structures to ensure accessibility and usability in new projects and ongoing operations
  • Partnering with the Omnichannel Platform domain teams, designing and refining interface definitions and data exchange schemas, aligning related application designs, roadmaps, and tool choices to ensure superior business event and business service consumption and leverage
  • Partnering with the Data & Analytics team to enhance our Data Platform and inform physical data architecture from conceptual and logical information architecture expressing Arc'teryx end-to-end business domains and process flow
  • Providing subject-matter expertise and ownership to build our architecture modeling practice using LeanIX tools, with special focus on relating business data models to applications and business capability management.

  • Leading the design and implementation of AI-empowered information solutions, ensuring seamless integration of advanced data models, data accessibility, and premium user experience
  • Teaming with business stewards, D&A team, and Enterprise Data Management to evangelize and prioritize MDM and DQ efforts in key domain areas of product, customer, and supply chain
  • Leading the development of information strategies that drive premium consumer engagement across digital touchpoints with consistency in our global regions
  • Participating and owning technology efforts to leverage our global technology platform in Asia-Pacific and other expanding markets


Are you our next Senior Information Architect?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • You may also have advanced degrees or certifications in technology leadership, cloud computing, or information architecture (highly desirable)
  • You have 12+ years in engineering roles of increasing responsibility and sophistication including prior experience as an enterprise or information architect
  • You have experience designing and implementing IT foundational capabilities in areas such as application integration, identity and access management, APIs and event schemas, and shared platform design and operation
  • You have direct design and demonstrated experience in application domains such as supply-chain, eCommerce, marketing technology, warehousing/logistics, product lifecycle management and sustainability; demonstrated experience with premium consumer digital experience with global deployment at scale highly desirable
  • You have demonstrated experience with architecture management tools and process; direct experience with LeanIX desirable
  • You have experience discovering needs and synthesizing viable architecture plans that solve cross-domain domain requirements and end-to-end flows
  • You have experience assessing current systems and flows as springboard to informing and contributing to project solution and strategy
  • You have experience with option synthesis with trade-offs, required policies, risks, and best-fit recommendation
  • You have demonstrated skill and desire to guide and inspire IT engineering best practice and provide skills mentorship and career path guidance to members of the engineering guild
  • You have strong communication skills and can inspire teams and stakeholders with a clear vision and innovative, logical plan of action
  • You have direct retail or adjacent domain experience at organization(s) providing premium products and user experiences aligned with brand promise

Compensation:

This role is open to qualified candidates across Canada and the United States who are legally eligible to work in their country of residence. Compensation ranges from CAD $126,000 - $165,000 for Canadian-based employees and USD $126,000 - $165,000 for U.S. based employees.
