SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Senior Full Stack UI Developer for a hybrid opportunity in Columbia, SC. Candidate will support a large-scale application modernization initiative focused on enhancing user experience, expanding backend capabilities, and improving enterprise system integrations. This role involves full stack development responsibilities across modern UI frameworks, API services, and database technologies while contributing to scalable and secure application delivery.
Required Qualifications of the Senior Full Stack UI Developer:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar component-based technologies
- Hands-on backend development experience using technologies such as Python, Java, or Node.js
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and API versioning strategies
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- Understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD processes, and modern software delivery practices
- Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization methods including OAuth and JWT
- Ability to develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities across the full application stack
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Full Stack UI Developer:- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- 4+ years of experience in full stack development and UI engineering
- Proven experience leading technical teams, projects, or enterprise application initiatives
- Experience working in large-scale modernization or digital transformation projects
- Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux, NgRx, or Context API
- Experience optimizing applications for accessibility compliance and cross-browser compatibility
Responsibilities of the Senior Full Stack UI Developer:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend application components
- Build and enhance modern web interfaces using frameworks such as React or Angular
- Develop and support APIs, microservices, and backend integrations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end software solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple system layers
- Support software quality, testing, deployment, and release management activities
Work Location: Initial onsite requirement for approximately 30-90 days. Opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule based on project needs and management discretion. Candidates must reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate prior to the start date at their own expense
