Job Summary and Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Circet USA is a premier technology infrastructure design, build, and maintain partner. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead and execute accurate and competitive cost estimates for Data Center Services. This role requires a strong understanding of Data Center services. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and engineers across ISP, OSP and Wireless Business Units, and clients to assess project requirements and ensure that estimates are aligned with project goals and client expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned:
  • Cost estimation:
    • Prepare detailed cost estimates for Data Center projects including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads
    • Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to determine requirements
    • Provide estimates based on unit pricing, historical data, and project-specific conditions
  • Site Assessments:
    • Conduct site visits to assess site conditions, constraints, and feasibility
    • Collaborate with field teams and gather insights on potential obstacles or unique requirements


  • Project Planning & Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align project scopes and requirements
    • Organizing team around RFP bid calendar and deadlines
    • Engage with clients and stakeholders to review project scopes and address any concerns
    • Prepare Proforma Review and coordinate stakeholders call


  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of estimates, project bids, and relevant documentation
    • Prepare and present cost reports, risk assessments, and value engineering suggestions
    • Keep updated with industry standards, codes, and technological advancements.
    • Post bid performance reporting - accuracy of bid to actual
    • Post bid win/loss reporting


Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong undersgtanding of Data Center services - low voltage, fiber interconnect, and wireless inbuilding solutions
  • Proficiency with estimation software and MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites or inter-company meetings as needed


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent; or five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant technical experience and understanding is required. Field experience in Data Center services desirable.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents; ability to respond effectively to the technical and most sensitive inquiries.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
