You will design scalable automation frameworks, improve release quality, and increase deployment confidence across critical customer-facing applications.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on API, integration, regression, and smoke automation while maintaining high-value UI automation for critical business journeys. You will work closely with Software Engineering, Product, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and AI teams to deliver reliable, enterprise-scale solutions.

What You Will Accomplish
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
  • Build automation coverage for backend services, enterprise APIs, and cross-platform integration workflows.
  • Validate critical customer support journeys across multiple systems, including web applications, backend services, contact center platforms, and third-party integrations.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and release quality gates to improve deployment confidence.
  • Lead end-to-end release validation for large-scale platform migrations and enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with Software Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Platform, and QE teams to define test strategies early in the development lifecycle.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production issues and troubleshoot failures across UI, APIs, services, integrations, and data layers.
  • Improve automation reliability, execution time, maintainability, and overall engineering efficiency through reusable frameworks and tooling.
  • Support production deployments, hypercare, defect prevention, and release readiness activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in quality engineering practices, automation strategy, and operational excellence.

What You Will Bring
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, SDET, or Software Engineering with strong automation ownership.
  • Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.

  • Experience building scalable UI automation for modern web applications.
  • Experience developing automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of regression testing, smoke testing, integration testing, release validation, and end-to-end quality engineering.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across distributed systems, APIs, databases, UI, and integration layers.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with Git-based development workflows and code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Genesys Cloud CX, contact center technologies, or customer support platforms.
  • Experience with Cyara automation for voice, IVR, and end-to-end contact center validation.
  • Experience testing enterprise workflow orchestration and multi-system integrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed microservices.
  • Experience with observability platforms, monitoring dashboards, logging, metrics, and tracing tools.
  • Experience performing non-functional testing, performance validation, and operational readiness testing.
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools for automation, code generation, or productivity improvements.
  • Experience testing AI-powered applications, including Agentic AI workflows, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and enterprise AI solutions.
