GENERAL SUMMARYFunctions as environmental, health and safety (EHS) subject matter expert and trusted strategic partner supporting Plasma Operations. Manages EHS projects or processes that contribute to maintaining and strengthening a culture of safety, health, wellbeing, and environmental sustainability. Collaborates with Plasma Operations to achieve targets set for environmental, health, and safety results.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPReports To: Sr. Director, Global EHS

RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and implement strategic EHS compliance programs aligning the company's regulatory bodies as they apply to employee safety and welfare.
- Responsible for planning and implementing safety, health, wellness, environmental, and related projects.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and corporate policy and guidelines.
- Analyze data including industrial hygiene, risk assessment, process hazard analysis, loss histories, and develop matrices to systematically identify and mitigate risk.
- Cultivates engaging training and communication tools leveraging multiple learning modalities.
- May lead significant EHS process / systems improvements requiring detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation.
- Inspires a safe work environment creating management and staff accountability for hazard identification and control measures.
- Builds partnership and collaborates with operations to ensure clarity of EHS strategies.
- Works to influence within and outside the EHS function regarding EHS policies, procedures & practices through effective communications.
- Serve as a trusted strategic member of both the Plasma & Global EHS team remaining flexible to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation- Bachelor's degree in safety sciences, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering or equivalent.
Experience- Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in safety/risk management.
Additional Comments- Certified Safety Professional preferred.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist, Occupational Health & Safety Technologist recommended.
- Requires deep knowledge of EHS and viewed as having a specialty within discipline.
