Emp Status Regular Full time Work Shift Compensation Range The base pay scale for this position is $171,500.00 - $261,500.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. What you will be doing Senior Network Engineer Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise, data center, and cloud networking technologies. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience in switching, routing, firewalls, and cloud networking, with a strong background in Juniper and Arista environments. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing secure and scalable network infrastructures across on-premises and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and support enterprise, data center, and cloud network infrastructure. Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing protocols. Manage and optimize firewall environments to ensure network security and compliance. Design and maintain hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms. Implement high-availability, resilient, and scalable network architectures. Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives. Support cloud networking technologies including VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, load balancers, and security groups. Perform network capacity planning, documentation, and operational reporting. Support incident response and root-cause analysis for network-related outages. Maintain network standards, automation practices, and operational procedures. Participate in after-hours maintenance activities and on-call support rotations as needed. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure support. Strong hands-on experience with: Switching and routing technologies Enterprise firewall platforms Cloud networking environments Network troubleshooting and performance optimization Proven expertise with: Juniper networking technologies Arista switching platforms Strong understanding of networking protocols including: BGP OSPF VLANs STP TCP/IP Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience configuring and troubleshooting hybrid cloud connectivity solutions. Strong understanding of network security concepts and firewall administration. Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise and cloud network environments. Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in large-scale enterprise or data center environments. Experience with network automation and scripting tools such as Python or Ansible. Familiarity with SD-WAN and network virtualization technologies. Industry certifications such as: JNCIP/JNCIE Arista ACE certifications AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Azure Network Engineer Associate CCNP/CCIE Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
