Leads the definition, alignment, development, and implementation of transformational lending and portfolio strategies across commercial banking programs, with accountability for programs, capital optimization, and customer outcomes. Oversees end-to-end governance and portfolio management to drive consistent execution across lending programs, including origination and risk oversight, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk appetite, and capital allocation priorities.
Portfolio & Program Oversight- Lead end-to-end oversight of lending programs across business lines
- Establish consistent frameworks for portfolio monitoring, reporting, and performance tracking
- Ensure alignment between program objectives, risk appetite, and capital allocation
Early Risk Identification & Management- Drive forward-looking analytics and insights to identify emerging risks early
- Shift the organization toward proactive vs. reactive risk management practices
Governance & Discipline- Strengthen discipline across products and government-backed programs
- Enhance monitoring, controls, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and consistency
- Partner with Risk and business leaders to reinforce clear accountability and oversight
Capital Optimization- Lead strategies to optimize capital usage and improve risk-adjusted returns
- Provide insights to support portfolio allocation, pricing discipline, and balance sheet efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS:- Typically 9+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in Business or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong experience with commercial lending portfolios/programs
- In-depth commercial banking and lending portfolio management knowledge
- Strong knowledge of process coordination and management.

Salary:$110,500.00 - $192,500.00

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
