Job Summary
The Senior Director, Performance Marketing Accelerator will set the vision and lead an enterprise-wide capability focused on transforming marketing performance at scale. This role is accountable for shaping global standards, operating models, and enabling capabilities that empower marketing teams to deliver measurable growth through data-driven decisioning, experimentation, and advanced technology.
Senior Director, Global Performance Marketing Accelerator

Serving as a senior strategic advisor and architect, this leader will guide global marketing teams in elevating digital experiences, unlocking the value of first party data, and maximizing the return on a modern marketing technology ecosystem. The role carries a global mandate, spanning the U.S. and priority international markets, with particular focus on Europe and the Middle East.

The Performance Marketing Accelerator operates as a centralized center of excellence and internal consultancy..

Key Responsibilities

Build and Lead the Global Performance Marketing Accelerator
  • Own the vision, mandate, and long-term roadmap for the Performance Marketing Accelerator as an enterprise capability that elevates marketing performance across the organization.
  • Establish global standards and operating principles for experimentation, personalization, and performance optimization, ensuring consistency, rigor, and scalability across regions and teams.
  • Govern the development and adoption of enterprise frameworks, playbooks, and enablement models that drive sustained capability uplift rather than one-off execution.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor and thought partner to brand, demand generation, and digital leaders-shaping priorities, guiding investment decisions, and accelerating value realization.


Marketing Technology Strategy & Integration
  • Set the vision and strategic roadmap for the marketing technology ecosystem, ensuring it enables scalable growth, first-party audience activation, and measurable performance across channels.
  • Provide executive leadership for cross functional alignment with IT and Data to establish an integrated, future ready architecture-governing unified customer profiles, identity resolution, and audience strategy at scale.
  • Serve as the enterprise owner for CDP strategy and governance, ensuring adoption, interoperability, and long-term value realization across regions and business units.


Capability Building & Organizational Upskilling
  • Set the enterprise strategy for advancing AI enabled performance marketing maturity, ensuring the organization has the capabilities, talent, and operating models required to responsibly scale applied AI, automation, and advanced analytics to drive sustained long-term growth.
  • Sponsor and govern innovation partnerships and proof of value initiatives, using targeted pilots to inform future state capability and platform decisions at scale.
  • Lead global enablement and upskilling efforts that embed performance marketing disciplines, standards, and best practices across regions and teams.
  • Operate effectively across diverse markets and cultures, fostering alignment, adoption, and shared accountability in a complex global environment.


Website Strategy
  • Own the enterprise strategy for website performance ensuring the company's digital ecosystem operates as a scalable growth and engagement engine.
  • Set the vision and governance for end-to-end customer journey optimization in partnership with UX, Digital Customer Experience (DCX), Analytics, and regional marketing leadership.
  • Establish the framework for personalization at scale, leveraging behavioral and first party data to drive differentiated experiences, improved conversion, and sustained demand generation.


Experience
  • 15+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, marketing operations, or marketing technology.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing. An MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience leading performance marketing capabilities or centers of excellence within complex global organizations.
  • Strong experience designing and integrating modern marketing technology stacks.
  • Experience implementing or scaling a Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Experience leading website optimization and experimentation programs.


Technical Expertise
  • Familiarity with and able to lead a team leveraging these tools:
  • CDP platforms
  • Marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Tableau)
  • APIs, customer identity resolution, and data architecture


Leadership Skills
  • Strong ability to influence and enable teams without direct ownership of execution
  • Strategic mindset with strong operational execution capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong communicator capable of translating complex data and technology into clear business impact

Additional Information:
