Full Job Description
As our Senior Director of Global Compensation, you will report to the Vice President of Global Compensation. You will lead global compensation and playing an important role in the global Total Rewards program strategy, design, and programs. Your role will involve strategic implementation , and management of the compensation programs at JBT Marel, often with a focus on efficiency, data-driven, decision-making, and compliance. You will collaborate with multiple partners, including HR, management, and employees, to ensure project understanding and success. You will identify opportunities for changes and contribute to the design and implementation of new or improved compensation programs ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legal requirements. On any given day you will lead: • Compensation Strategic Initiatives: Implement strategies that align with organizational goals and support business objectives. • Project Management: Manage multiple compensation projects, including design, implementation, and administration. • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, and external vendors to ensure agreement of total rewards programs. • Change Management: Direct change management efforts related to total rewards projects, encouraging innovation, and driving continuous improvement. • Communication: Manage communication strategy for specific programs and develop employee education programs. Requirements for the role EDUCATION: • Bachelor's Degree: Minimum requirement in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • Master's Degree: Preferred in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in compensation • Experience in a global, complex organizations • Experience in global grading • Experience with variable compensation programs (sales incentive plan) • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment • Total Rewards Experience: with a focus on compensation. • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a senior role in Human Resources or Total Rewards, demonstrating operational and strategic skills. • Project Management Experience: Demonstrated project management skills and experience in bringing complex, cross-functional projects to successful completion. • Change Management: Proven ability to navigate change, lead transformation and remain agile to support changing our needs and conditions. • Experience in the industrial manufacturing industry KNOWLEDGE: • Total Rewards Practices: In-depth understanding of Total Rewards practices, labor laws, and compensation frameworks. Continual awareness of industry's best practices, new trends, and ability to gather benchmarking data • Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of business operations and strategic planning SKILLS: • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to identify trends, measure the effectiveness of total rewards programs, and provide insights to optimize performance. • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work with employees and senior management and communicate complex ideas in clear and easy-to-understand language. • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to influence, collaborate and partner with multiple team members. • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex Total Rewards issues.
