Job overview and responsibilities

The Senior Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of critical backend capabilities within a modern communications platform that manages messaging traffic reliably and at scale. This role will support modern and complex message formats, including Offer and Order and full NDC functionality, while also maintaining compatibility with legacy messaging formats such as EDIFACT and TTY. The Senior Developer will provide hands-on engineering leadership across C#, .NET Core, microservices, APIs, cloud-native infrastructure, messaging platforms, CI/CD automation, and AI-enabled software development practices.

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of backend solutions built on C# and .NET Core. Experience with Go (Golang) or other modern programming languages is preferred
  • Define API contracts, policies, and routing rules managed through Kong API Gateway
  • Provide technical direction and design for API integrations between internal platforms, external systems, and cloud services
  • Architect scalable and resilient infrastructure deployments across AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, and RDS
  • Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness for automated deployment, validation, and testing
  • Design event-driven communication patterns leveraging Solace message brokers to support reliable, scalable messaging traffic
  • Create, review, and maintain technical designs, API specifications, integration documentation, and implementation artifacts
  • Ensure solutions are designed for reliability, performance, security, scalability, operational readiness, and production support
  • Coordinate with cloud infrastructure, architecture, security, DevOps, product, and project management teams to resolve dependencies and support delivery execution
  • Highlight, communicate and document risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies, and serve as an escalation point as required
  • Continuously refine AI prompt pipelines to improve the accuracy and consistency of agent-generated technical specifications
  • Orchestrate AI agent workflows that transform high-level product and architecture artifacts into precise, spec-driven low-level designs for microservices
  • Orchestrate AI agent workflows that transform high-level product and architecture artifacts into precise, spec-driven low-level designs for microservices
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in API development, integration, AI-assisted engineering, cloud architecture, and DevOps.
