As a trusted partner to over 400 leading financial institutions, Ocrolus processes nearly one million credit applications monthly, empowering lenders to make faster, more accurate decisions through advanced AI-driven document analysis and fraud detection.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Senior Counsel will play a pivotal role in managing the full spectrum of legal matters for a high-growth fintech. This position offers significant autonomy and impact, spanning commercial contracts, product and AI counseling, regulatory compliance, privacy, corporate governance, and legal operations. The Senior Counsel will independently drive negotiations for SaaS and data licensing agreements, advise on AI and data privacy issues, support compliance with evolving financial regulations, and partner with cross-functional teams to enable business growth. The role also involves managing outside counsel and piloting new AI-powered legal tools to enhance efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have 6-10 years of legal experience, including time at both a top law firm and in-house at a technology or financial services company. Expertise in commercial contracts, financial services regulation, and data privacy is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to operate independently and deliver practical, business-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment. Experience with legal AI tools and a genuine enthusiasm for integrating technology into legal practice are highly valued.
