Role Overview
As aSenior Controls Engineer,you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. This role will enable you to lead a team and work with customers while integrating some of the most state-of-the-art robotics and technology available. The innovative solutions we work on offer diverse experiences that will strengthen your skills and challenge your abilities. This is an in-person role at our Greenville and Liberty location.
How You27ll Make an Impact:
Supervise controls engineers and related staff, providing technical guidance and leadership.
Coach and support engineers in identifying technical skill gaps and career development opportunities.
Partner with department leadership to advance the engineering organization through training, leadership development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, including staffing plans, workload distribution, and adherence to project schedules.
Design and develop control systems and equipment to meet customer and project requirements.
Lead cross-functional technical teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Support the successful execution of assigned programs with accountability for cost, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

What You27ll Bring:
Bachelor27s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience; OR an Associate27s Degree with two (2) or more years of related experience.
10+ years of related professional experience
Approximately two (2) years of experience leading technical projects.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineers, supporting their professional growth and career progression.
Extensive experience with automation products, services, and the automation industry.
Proven ability to identify systemic issues and drive improvements in departmental efficiency.
Serve as a technical expert and leader within the department.
Current or prior experience with JR Automation or within the automation industry strongly preferred.
Ability to travel up to 25% to customer sites and other JR locations.
