Make an impact with our Digital Solutions team as a Senior Consultant, Business AI & Intelligent Solutions. This role supports client engagements focused on Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, automation, and agent-based solutions.
This is a hands-on consulting role that blends solution architecture, technical leadership, and solution delivery. The successful candidate will design, build, and deploy Microsoft-based AI and automation solutions while helping clients transform the way they work. They will lead technical workstreams, take ownership of solution outcomes, mentor junior team members, and work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and client stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.
The ideal candidate combines strong consulting skills with deep technical expertise. They are comfortable moving from architecture and design to configuration, development, testing, and deployment. They stay informed on the latest Microsoft product updates, AI innovations, roadmap developments, and platform capabilities, and are able to translate emerging technologies into practical solutions for clients. They enjoy solving business problems through technology and have experience delivering solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Teams, SharePoint, Dataverse, and related Microsoft technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & Design- Lead the architecture and technical design of business AI, Copilot, agent, and automation solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, supportable, and maintainable solution designs.
- Define solution architecture, integration patterns, security considerations, data models, and deployment approaches.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project teams, security stakeholders, and clients to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction throughout the project lifecycle.
Hands-On Solution Development- Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Build intelligent agents using Copilot Studio and related Microsoft AI capabilities.
- Develop Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and integrations with Microsoft 365 services.
- Participate directly in proof-of-concept, pilot, MVP, and production solution delivery activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize solutions for usability, performance, security, and maintainability.
Copilot, Agent & AI Solution Delivery- Lead the implementation of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agent Builder, and agent-based solutions.
- Design conversational experiences, orchestration patterns, knowledge sources, and integration approaches.
- Implement governance, lifecycle management, and operational readiness requirements for AI solutions.
Governance, Architecture & Platform Enablement- Assess client environments and provide recommendations related to Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI solution readiness.
- Contribute to governance frameworks, architecture standards, and operating models.
- Collaborate with security, privacy, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet organizational requirements.
- Balance innovation with governance, security, maintainability, and cost management considerations.
- Support deployment strategies, environment management, and solution lifecycle processes.
Client Engagement Delivery- Lead technical workstreams across client engagements from design through implementation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and technical teams.
- Facilitate technical workshops, solution design sessions, architecture reviews, and demonstrations.
- Contribute technical content to assessments, roadmaps, solution designs, implementation plans, and executive presentations.
- Support project planning, risk management, estimation, and overall delivery quality.
Business Development & Practice Development- Contribute to the development of reusable assets, frameworks, and service offerings.
- Stay current with Microsoft AI, Copilot, Power Platform, and emerging technologies.
- Support practice growth through thought leadership, innovation, and collaboration with Microsoft and internal stakeholders.
Technology Leadership & Continuous Learning- Maintain deep expertise across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Agents, Dataverse, and emerging AI technologies.
- Stay current on Microsoft product roadmaps, release cycles, public preview features, licensing updates, and platform announcements.
- Continuously evaluate new Microsoft capabilities and identify opportunities to apply them to client solutions, service offerings, and delivery approaches.
- Monitor Microsoft release notes, product documentation, conferences, community updates, technical blogs, and partner communications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft AI, Copilot, and Power Platform capabilities for both clients and internal teams.
- Translate emerging platform capabilities into practical recommendations, reusable assets, and implementation patterns.
- Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and impacts associated with changes across the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Share product updates, lessons learned, and implementation best practices with project teams and practice leadership.
- Contribute to the evolution of MNP's Business AI and Intelligent Solutions offerings based on market and platform developments.
Mentorship & Team Leadership- Mentor junior consultants, analysts, and developers through solution delivery activities.
- Provide technical coaching, code reviews, architecture reviews, and implementation guidance.
- Support team capability development through knowledge sharing and training.
Skills & ExperienceRequired- 5+ years of consulting, solution architecture, application development, or Microsoft technology experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering business solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related collaboration technologies.
- Strong experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
- Experience designing and implementing AI, Copilot, automation, or agent-based solutions.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience leading technical workstreams and solution implementation activities.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, integration, security, and application lifecycle management concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and apply new Microsoft technologies, features, and capabilities.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft's cloud service model, release cadence, and product roadmap evolution.
- Ability to assess emerging technologies and determine their practical business value and implementation considerations.
- Passion for continuous learning and maintaining technical expertise in a rapidly changing technology landscape.
- Strong written communication, presentation, facilitation, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders in client-facing consulting environments.
Preferred- Experience implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio solutions.
- Experience with Agent Builder, Agent 365, Cowork, Researcher, Analyst, and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph, APIs, connectors, and enterprise integrations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, compliance, governance, DLP, and information protection concepts.
- Experience with Azure services that support AI, automation, and solution development.
- Experience contributing to architecture reviews, estimates, and complex client pursuits.
- Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot, AI, or Solution Architecture disciplines.
