Full Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Business Performance to be the business driver behind our scheduling product's growth story.

This is a role for a strategic thinker with enough technical and data fluency to be self-sufficient. You'll define what should be measured, and shape the KPIs that reflect real business health. You'll work across finance, product, marketing, and data and insights to get the story in shape. You won't be working in raw data tables, but you will be the primary voice driving our analytics and data engineering teams to build what the business actually needs to answer its most important questions.

This role reports to the Senior Group Product Manager of Acuity Scheduling and is based at our New York City headquarters or remote.
You'll Get To...
  • Define what good looks like. Own the KPI and metrics framework for Acuity, working across functions to determine which measures actually reflect business health and customer outcomes. Identify the segments and signals that matter, and drive the work to make them trackable.
  • Own the business narrative. Be the authoritative voice on how Acuity is performing, across subscriber trends, revenue dynamics, and cohort behavior. Go beyond summarizing dashboards to explain what changed, why it matters, and what leadership should do about it.
  • Drive decision-making at the leadership level. Produce the analyses and frameworks that inform weekly business reviews, QBR presentations, and monthly deep-dives for senior and executive stakeholders, working cross-functionally to bring together multiple dimensions into a set of recommendations. Determine what's worth highlighting and shape how it gets communicated.
  • Connect product signals to business outcomes. Take what the data surfaces, including cohort trends, churn patterns, and post-cancellation behavior to translate it into a business narrative: who we're losing, why it matters, and whether someone else is gaining from it.
  • Serve as the primary partner to Data and Insights. Be the connective tissue between the business and our analytics and data engineering teams. Drive them to prioritize the right tables, build the right views, and close the gaps between what we can track today and what we need to track tomorrow.
  • Bring commercial intuition to the analysis. Acuity operates in a highly competitive scheduling and services market with real seasonality, price sensitivity, and cohort dynamics. Contextualize the numbers within how this business actually works, and surface the implications that others might miss. Drive the decisions that drive the business.
Who We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or commercial analytics, ideally in a product-led or subscription business
  • A strategic and commercial thinker who leads with business outcomes and works backward to the data
  • Proven ability to define and evolve metrics frameworks: you know the difference between a KPI that reflects business health and one that just moves
  • Strong data storytelling skills: able to translate complex findings into clear, specific narratives for executive audiences
  • Technically fluent: comfortable writing SQL, working with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar), and doing self-driven analysis without being blocked
  • Experience as a cross-functional connector, working across finance, marketing, product, and data teams to align on what matters and why
  • Strong spreadsheet and modeling skills
  • Proven track record contributing to exec-facing reporting and decisions: WBRs, QBRs, board-level materials
Benefits & Perks
  • A choice between medical plans with an option for 100% covered premiums
  • Fertility and adoption benefits
  • Access to supplemental insurance plans for additional coverage
  • Headspace mindfulness app subscription
  • Global Employee Assistance Program
  • Retirement benefits with employer match
  • Flexible paid time off
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave and family care leave
  • Pretax commuter benefit
  • Education reimbursement
  • Employee donation match to community organizations
  • 7 Global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
  • Dog-friendly workplace
  • Free lunch and snacks
  • Private rooftop
  • Hack week twice per year
Cash Compensation Range: $115,500 - $203,550 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure in addition to base salary.
