The Challenge

The Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance is part of the CFO organization and reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance. The Strategic Finance team serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and partners closely with teams across OneTrust to improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of our business model.

This role will play a critical role supporting both R&D and Marketing from a finance perspective-partnering with functional leaders to inform investment decisions, optimize resource allocation, and translate strategy into measurable outcomes. You'll work at the intersection of product innovation, go-to-market execution, and financial performance.
Your Mission

We're looking for a highly analytical, results-oriented individual who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to build and scale alongside a growing company. As a key member of the Strategic Finance team, you will have meaningful exposure to senior leadership, own complex analyses, and influence decisions that shape the company's future.

In this role, you will:
  • Support company-wide planning, forecasting, and reporting processes on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis
  • Partner closely with R&D and Marketing leaders to develop financial plans, evaluate trade-offs, and support capital allocation decisions across product development and go-to-market initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of the unit economics of the business, including the relationships between product roadmap, cloud infrastructure, customer usage, and marketing investment
  • Build and maintain financial models and analytical frameworks to evaluate KPIs, assess performance, and measure ROI across initiatives
  • Conduct rigorous analyses to identify opportunities, risks, and trade-offs, distilling complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels, from executive leadership to functional partners and individual contributors
  • Help scale the finance function by improving financial infrastructure, automating workflows, and enhancing FP&A processes as the company grows
You Are
  • 3-5 years of finance experience in a high-growth technology environment; experience in investment banking, consulting, or PE/VC is a plus
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, compelling narratives that inform decision-making and strategy
  • Proven ability to create structure and clarity in ambiguous environments, influence cross-functional partners, and drive outcomes without direct authority
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing
