The Role:The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst supports strategic financial planning, forecasting, and business performance across the organization. This role partners with Finance and operational leaders to develop financial models, analyze business performance, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and deliver actionable insights that support executive decision-making. The Senior FP&A Analyst also contributes to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and the development of junior team members.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities to support strategic planning and business performance.
- Analyze financial results, operational trends, and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights and variance analysis.
- Support month-end close activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and continuous improvements to reporting processes.
- Partner with Finance and operational leaders to evaluate business performance, operational expenses, payroll, commissions, and budgeting initiatives.
- Assist in strengthening internal controls, financial processes, and reporting accuracy while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, supporting knowledge sharing and professional development.
What you Bring to the Table:Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related financial role.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business performance metrics.
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

The expected California Pay Range for this position:
$80,642-$92,747 USD
