Job Location: New York City, NYJob Description In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend solutions within the Adobe Experience Manager platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance web applications that enhance our customer experience. The ideal candidate will have held a similar role in an agency or corporate marketing organization, be a self-starter able to work independently, and comfortable with rapid change and managing and prioritizing their tasks to defined deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain AEM components, templates, and services using Java and Sling.
Implement and manage workflows, JCR queries, and integrations with external systems (RESTful APIs, databases, etc.).
Customize and extend AEM functionalities to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Optimize performance and scalability of AEM applications.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Support deployment activities, troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues in both production and development environments.
Stay updated with AEM and Adobe Cloud innovations and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications5+ years of experience as an AEM Developer including developing using the AEM 6.5 platform and related technologies
Expertise in AEM stack, including AEM Modules, Granite, Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
Strong Java development experience, with hands-on expertise in JDK 1.8 or higher.
Hands-on experience developing AEM templates, components, and workflows as well as integrating AEM with third-party systems and APIs.
Experience in integrating AEM with AWS services like DynamoDB, S3
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
Working knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode etc.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of and experience working on AWS cloud platform and associated services is a plus
Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) is desired but not mandatory.
Familiarity with digital marketing principles and best practices is a plus.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment including offshore development teams.
Experience with agile methodology a plus
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 100000 - 130000
