About the Role

As a Senior Account Manager, you'll lead the delivery of strategic medical communications projects for one or more pharmaceutical clients. Acting as the primary client contact, you'll oversee a broad range of projects from concept through execution, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with scientific, creative, editorial, digital, meetings, and operational teams, you'll help clients achieve their communication objectives while driving account growth and long-term success.

Here's What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the day-to-day on a mix of publications and medical affairs accounts, acting as the primary client contact.
  • Manage the successful delivery of a broad range of medical affairs and publications initiatives, including meetings, congress activities, abstracts, manuscripts, scientific content, , training materials, and other multichannel communications.
  • Build strong client relationships by providing proactive guidance, strategic support, and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, budgets, and financial performance to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including scientific services, editorial, creative, digital, meetings, and production, to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, contribute to proposals and pitches, and support new business growth.
  • Mentor and support junior team members while fostering collaboration and sharing best practices across the wider team.


About You
  • 4+ years' experience in medical or healthcare communications, with experience managing pharmaceutical client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the development of medical communications projects across medical affairs and publications.
  • Experience managing a variety of project types and leading multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, project budgets, timelines, and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and client-focused approach with a passion for delivering high-quality work.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.
