CTTP Director

Reports to: VP, Children's and Behavioral Support Services

Location: 6520 Basile Rowe East Syracuse, NY 13057

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Pay: $82,080-$87,210

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive employee to use one's own experience and judgement to carry out the mission of the CTI model and Transitional Residential Services (TRS) for youth boarding in hospitals and emergency rooms.

Responsibilities include:

o Oversee referral and workflow

o Ensure CTI staff meet with youth and families referred from hospital

o Review intake assessments to determine needs and goals; assist the CTI team and the youth/family in determining additional services needed to achieve and maintain stability

o Review visit schedule with each youth/family to ensure it meets CTI requirements and the youth/family's needs

o Monitor the provision of services at the TRS site

o Review progress with supports/referrals; assist with recommendations for referrals and changes as needed

o Responsible for the supervision of the CTI team, the TRS Manager, TRS clinical staff

o Complete, and ensure the completion of performance evaluation documentation of staff; initial, 6 month, and annual; assist with staff performance concerns and follow-up with disciplinary action, if necessary

o Ensure that all required documentation is completed with required elements and maintained per Agency procedures/NYS regulations; including: progress notes, safety plans, intake/discharge plans, and assessments

o Ensure incident reports are completed in a timely manner; ensure safeguards and recommendations are implemented

o Complete youth/family satisfaction surveys and analyze results

o Implement system to measure quality initiatives and program outcomes; monitor the status of program outcomes data and ensure data is submitted in a timely manner for the Agency dashboard

o Review monthly financial printouts and work with supervisor and Finance to modify budget and/or expenses, as needed

o Ensure that the youth's rights are protected with regards to their money and personal possessions

o Meet with local hospitals to educate them on the CTI process

o Participates in meetings with OMH and follow up on recommendations made

o Conduct self in a professional manner

o Provide person-centered, quality, services

o Observe confidentiality and safeguards regarding all participant related information

o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as with company policies

o Perform Other Duties as Assigned

Education & Experience

Master degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related field, required. Licensed Clinical Social Worker certification, preferred. NYS Licensed Master Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor certification, required. One year of experience working with youth with a mental health diagnosis, and/or intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD) dual diagnosis; or, case management experience working with youth and families, preferred.

Conditions of Employment

Must have a valid NYS Driver License in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
