About the Role:Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Security Engineering, the Security Engineer will design and implement strategies to secure our corporate infrastructure. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week within the Seattle Metropolitan area, based on manager approval.
You Will:- Work alongside the IT Team to review their corporate infrastructure and provide consultancy services including hands-on work for migrations and integrations.
- Contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions that support enterprise-wide security initiatives.
- Perform risk assessment and threat modeling exercises to identify risks in home-grown and third-party services, applications, and chart pathways to remediate and/or accept the risk.
- Develop enterprise security standards, guidelines and policies whilst keeping business processes and impact in mind.
- Create and evolve security tooling to secure our corporate infrastructure and development environments.
- Provide leadership in securing corporate assets (e.g., Computers, IoT, authentication/Authorization-SSO, SaaS integrations), and redefine + implement the best pathway forward for Enterprise Security.
You Have:- Position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by 3 years of experience performing enterprise security. In the alternative, the employer will accept two years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by 3 years of experience performing enterprise security. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
- 1 year of experience with communicating risks and resulting mitigations to partners;
- 1 year of experience with collecting and analyzing security logs and related telemetry;
- 1 year of experience with performing system or network architecture reviews;
- 1 year of experience with assessing risks related to SaaS applications, including driving improvements from vendors and configuration management;
- 1 year of experience with securing operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS;
- 1 year of experience with responding to endpoint incidents arising from EDR tools, including Crowdstrike Falcon, and local agents;
- 1 year of experience with managing end-user authentication and SSO through an identity provider;
- 1 year of experience with reviewing security-related configurations of public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP;
- 1 year of experience with using CI/CD to manage detection-as-code and SaaS configuration;
- 1 year of experience with managing and triaging vulnerabilities from network scanners and cloud security posture management tools, including QualysGuard, Wiz, and PrismaCloud; and
- 1 year of experience with producing reports on posture and compliance.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $168,000.00 - $210,000.00.
