Full Job Description
Excelity is seeking a Scrum Master for a project supporting an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects. Required Clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Responsibilities: - Leading daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other project-related meetings, coaching the team on Scrum principles and best practices. - Facilitating open discussion and conflict resolution; identify and resolve issues that might arise during scrum execution; update activities in a project management tracking tool. - Record and maintain product requirements and the backlog. - Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging team members to share ideas and address challenges. - Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve organizational Agile practices. Required Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field of study, and 5+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. - Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master on a Scrum team. - Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching others how to become Agile. - Certification: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent. - Knowledge of and experience with JIRA/Confluence/GitLab/Artifactory. - Knowledge of Agile methodology and scrum. - Familiarity with SAFe methodology. - Strong communication skills. - Adept at organizing and motivating teams. - Adept at solving problems. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
