As a Scheduler working in the Alternative Projects Centre of Expertise (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a pivotal role driving collaboration as it relates to complex project designs. Supporting our large-scale building and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will have the opportunity to provide guidance, support and assistance to ensure collaboration with our Project Managers and support consultants from concept through to construction.
What you will do:
-Assist the project team through baseline schedule development and maintenance.
-Collaborate to keep schedules up to date and accurate while prioritizing work assessment analysis.
-Analyze schedule data and variances to identify and troubleshoot key project issues.
-Lead and support the project team with client schedule related meetings.
-Effectively apply project-specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau's health, safety and environmental standards, applicable OH&S acts, and regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project.
This role could be for you if you have:
-4+ years of hands-on scheduling/planning experience in the construction industry.
-Completed a construction related certificate program, diploma or degree.
-Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control.
-A knack for having the ability to quickly identify schedule-related conflicts and possible causes, producing affective solutions, and collaboratively work with a large team to reach successful project completion.
-Previous experience working with scheduling software including Primavera 6.
