As the NY Construction Scheduler on the US Expansion Strategic Programs team, you will be a key contributor to the successful delivery of Micron's Mega program in New York, providing AI-supported, concise reporting of construction progress to the Director of Construction and the Project Management team. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and experience in the semiconductor or advanced manufacturing industry.

What's Encouraged Daily

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of integrated Level 3 and Level 4 project schedules, ensuring accurate reflection of scope, logic, constraints, critical path, and key achievements.
  • Establish and govern schedule management processes, standards, coding structures, calendars, and baselines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate schedule alignment across Program Schedule Lead, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams, serving as the primary scheduling interface between customers and contractors.
  • Lead Facilities Readiness schedule development and breakthrough tracking, integrating Base Build, CSA, Systems, Commissioning, Startup, and Tool Installation schedules to support turnover objectives.
  • Review contractor baseline schedules and updates, facilitate weekly and monthly schedule reviews, and supervise performance against approved baselines to identify variances and emerging risks.
  • Perform critical path, fragment, and what-if analyses; develop forecasts; and prepare dashboards, achievement reports, and executive presentations with early warning of potential delays.
  • Be responsible for the schedule risk management process-identification, assessment, tracking, and mitigation-and drive recovery planning to protect key achievements and Facilities Readiness.
  • Lead schedule impact assessments for changes, delays, and disruptions; evaluate contractor Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and claims; and maintain documented, auditable schedule change logs.

How to Qualify:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, planning, or project controls on large capital construction projects.

  • Demonstrated experience leading contractor schedule reviews, facilitating coordination meetings, and managing schedule forecasting, risk, and organizational change.
  • Solid understanding of Time Impact Analysis (TIA), delay analysis, and schedule-related claims' evaluation.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience working with EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, or large-scale infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or semiconductor construction projects.
  • Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer leadership skills, with the ability to communicate schedule risks, opportunities, and recommendations to project leadership.
